OK, I don't want this to sound weird or anything, and although I started out like that, I hope you all don't take this the wrong way. But the other day this girl and I were fooling around and she tried to tie my arms up so she could tickle me. I had gotten her good in the past and she wanted revenge. However, and this is where I hope I'm not alone, It feels strange and out of place for me to be tied down and tickled. I am a fit guy, and larger in every way than this girl who was on top of me, and it felt strange, to say the least. I felt, embarrassed and it was not as much fun as when I tickled her.

Now, I like being tickled, but aren't there any other guys out there that feel the same way. It must be easier for an attractive girl to let herself go in that kind of a situation. I kinda feel like because of this manly image, that I'm being jipped in a way (and this is where I don't want anything taken the wrong way, I'm not a crossdresser or anything like that, but I just wonder what it is like in the other persons shoes, or out of them).

Kind of same feeling

There are a few factors that could have lead you to feeling how you did. Being tied up is not for some people. A mantra I live by: "My kink may not be your kink, but that doesn't make either of us wrong."

First, the act of being tied up can often be a humiliating one for people (not just me) who are used to being dominant in their lives. Sometimes, that humiliation ends up being a turn on. Sometimes it triggers discomfort in a person or worse.

Being tied up also signifies handing over the control to another. That lose of control while freeing to some is, again, a trigger for discomfort and even distress in another.

You may find that without the restraints, you respond better to being tickled. You may find that instead of being completely focused on, you need to tickling of yourself to be more in a tickle fight context.

Second, not every one can take as good as they give. And that is just fine. Some people are naturally 'lers or dominants while others are naturally 'lees or submissives. Some people are able to do both. It may just be that you do not receive the same degree of pleasure being on the receiving end.

This is perfectly fine and you are most definitely not alone.

Embarrasment and discomfort are normal feelings to have, especially when exploring a new philia, fetish or even role.

It has been my experience with a girlfriend and many female friends that they love being able to tie up, pin, or hold a man so he is completely at their mercy! That in itself is a real rush for them and they love watching a guy struggle helplessly and the look of panic on his face as he knows what is coming next. Then they love the fact that they can tickle the guy or do anything they want to him and he can't do a thing about it. It is not for every guy so do what is right for you and trust is important. I know from my own personal experience, I greatly enjoy tying up my submissives because it is empowering. They have already handed me the control, but restraining them is a finalization. They now have no control other than a safe word to scream if needed.

But for me, it is not because it is control over a man. it is merely for the control... I do, however, know other female dominants who get the rush because it is a gender role reversal- they are tying up a man and that is the majority of the appeal for them.

So I would venture with the tickling arena, you may have both as well. I know my first time restraining a male with intent to tickle him was still about the power exchange and control for me.
