Some sad news, on behalf of kwildoctr...

kwil's father passed away two weeks ago. The logistics of coordinating the viewing, held in one city, and the funeral, held in another city, necessitated holding services over the course of the last two weeks.

The logistics also made it necessary for us to travel out of state to the funeral services on kwil's birthday. I love kwil, and I've done my best to be as supportive as I know how, although at times like this even that feels inadequate. I'm now asking this fine community to offer its support and sympathy to kwil.

All I can offer is that kwil dad is in a much better place and there are many caring people here at tmf that I can say kwil will receive alot of support and sympathy here,as well as anything else that he
may need from his friends..

Speaking from experience, I was going through some difficult times myself and through the support of friends here,.I can definitely say that things have become better for myself ..I am making changes in my life,and i know these changes will be making me a stronger person which in the long run make me a much happier person..

Losing a loved one is bad enough. Having to endure the process and travel for two weeks really sucks. Having to deal with this on your birthday........there just aren't any words to describe how he must be feeling right now.

The good news is he has a woman like you in his life who really loves him and is concerned about how he feels. If he's happy, you're happy with him. If he's hurting, you don't leave him alone to hurt by himself. There are a lot of men willing to sell their souls to find the kind of woman he has in you. Losing a parent is a loss that is so hard to put into words and has an incredible impact on us. That coupled with the logistics of multiple services has probably left him totally exhausted and without much time to mourn his loss.

My heartfelt sympathy to Kwil and to you Lite. I will keep you both, and Kwil's Dad in my prayers. And I'll send some good thoughts up to my mom and tell her to watch for him.
