Something funny I heard on the radio

I listen to The Edge (a rock station in Dallas) and they are one of the millions of radio station owned by ClearChannel Communications, which recently was bought off by RIAA (the anti-mp3 people) and run anti-mp3 ads. Here is what I heard this morning....

(the ad) "Do you like music? Then support the artist behind your favorite songs and just say no, to MP3s

Right after that the DJ said "The 20th caller to The Edge will get the Creative Nomad MP3 player.....


I almost died when I heard that. Was that a conflict of interest?

Not only was that a conflict of interest, I'd say it was downright hypocritical! That IS funny. 😀

P.S. When you buy music, you're supporting the record companies, not the artists. 😛
