a few weeks ago i attended a grappling tournament (judo, jiu jitsu, wrestling, etc.) and the guy was reading the rules.

He stated that a new rule was instituted and "tickling" was forbidden during a match. Apparently, someone had tried this during the middle of a serious match and actually used it effectively. Since it was considered an "unfair advantage" this was banned after that incident.

Lol, imagine seeing that in the middle of a serious match. Two random fighters going at it and all of a sudden one pulls out the secret weapon many tmf'ers use.

I should really be going to bed... its 3:30 am.

You know I always wondered about that in "grouping" sports like wresling or the bottom of a football pile.

Hmm, that's actually a rather lovely thought...

Being pinned down at the bottom of a football pile, refusing to relinquish the ball, and then he starts to feel gloved fingers wriggling this way and that, anywhere and everywhere they can reach. And he can laugh all he wants, because the crowd is roaring over the near goal, and no one will hear him except for his tormentors... at least for a few minutes. But of course, being stubborn, he refuses to give up the ball...
