In just thinking of our shared fetish/interest/hobby/passion/ what have you, from an objective perspective (the best I can be at being objective anyway) we have chosen to make an innocent playful mainstream accepted form of interaction, in the proper and acceptable circumstances of course, which is tickling, a bigger part of our lives then most people would give a 2nd thought about.
I just think it is interesting from a sociological and psychological point of view.
I've often thought about the many ways people from different eras/millenium have used tickling for one reason or other.
What do you all think?

the fact that ticklish sensation doesn't become neutralized like pain was probably learned during the Middle Ages, 1000-1100 AD (maybe) and perhaps earlier than that, maybe.
