During my sessions I tended to play indian ragas to tickle by. The ragas tend to start off slow and soft, with the lead instrument playing solo with no accompaniment, (great for those slow sensual tickling starts), but as time progresses, it starts to build in speed and intensity until it's really rocking out towards the end, and sending the lee into hysterics. Most ragas I have were recorded during the LP vinyl days, so they tend to run 20 minutes or so, and feed the energy nicely. Play a stack of those and boogie into the night with Raga n Roll.

I've often thought about this but only two seem to spring to mind.

As a lee of course I would quite like the following playing in the backgroud

1) I know this was orginally done by Depeche Mode but I prefer The Saturdays version- Just Can't Get Enough...quite apt for me :lol

2) Meredith Brooks - B*tch- purely coz of the lyrics....just so my ler can take it out of context:

Interesting question, Bug 🙂 I honestly never thought about it. But now that'cha got me thinkin', I might go for something medium tempo, not too distracting -- ignorable, but there in the early goings when it's all giggles and sighs.

I do like MrTicklefeet's Ragas idea, though. Music to help the mood along, and set the pace. Definitely an idea I'll be playing with when the opportunity arises.

I'm partial to Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu, Opus 66 in C# Minor. But that would be some wonky tickle session...though prolly fun with a massage-y session during the slow, pretty bit. Still, the Minute Waltz does sound rather tickly, now that you mention it! 😛

I'd think "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov would work quite well for a ticklish frenzy. Could imagine the tickling fingers or feathers would be "buzzing" all across the exposed skin in the erratic patterns that bees tend to fly in, only these "stings" are much more pleasant than they normally would be!

There's nothing intrinsically tickly about this music but once I was hanging out with a bunch of friends while an album by Garbage was blaring... might've been "Version 2.0," I don't remember... and a tickle-attack broke out; I couldn't even hear my own peals of helpless laughter over the cranked music as a fluctuating team of 2-4 women tickled me into hysterics, but something about that driving, spiky rock and Shirley Manson's cool, taunting vocals really contributed to the torture.
