Spider-Man or Star Wars episode 2??

What movie do you think will make more money?? Spider-man is a HUGE success so far, but I do not see it surpassing STAR WARS. Any other thoughts??

i think Star Wars will gross more because of its worldwide popularity and how much it is a part of American Culture. i am anxiously awaiting May 16. the ONLY thing that will suck is the fact we have to wait till 2005 for Episode 3.....

Well, as of today, Spiderman is the first film in history to gross 100 million in it's first three days. Time will tell if Attack of the Clones will top that. I have a feeling it will, as the lesser hype of this one has added a bit of mystery to it. Plus, even the early reviews are favorable, which will bring out the folks who may not have seen it right off.😎

Well, it's hard to say. "Spiderman" was a good movie and I enjoyed it but "Attack of the Clones" will get more money out of me than "Spiderman". I probably won't see "Spiderman" in the theater again, while I'll most likely see "Attack of the Clones" multiply times. Time will tell. I think that over time "Star Wars" will come out on top. Just a prediction.

Which is why Lucas takes his time in making and releasing pics...Many fans go to see it multiple times, not I .........I shall wait until it comes to video after the last (IMHO) failure..........I was totally
disappointed with episode one after waiting all those years....

Ven, I would seriously go see this one in the theaters. Trust me, would I steer you wrong?

Tell you what, if you go see it and hate it, I'll personally refund your money. This one is going to succeed everywhere that Ep I failed.

One thing about Ep II having a big opening weekend. It opens on a Thursday, so the take for the Fri-Sat weekend may not be as much as Spiderman (which opened on a Friday), as the faithful will have already seen it by the time the weekend rolls around.
