I use AOL's AIM for several hours each day, never a problem.

I have the feeling that if a 'spimmer' dares to stick his greedy face into AIM's space, said spimmer will be off the air and begging for mercy within 15 minutes.

Yep. That's what I normally do. And even my contacts are limitted if I'm working on something rather than simply surfing and goofing.

Yeah. Their is software online that will allow you to do this as well as key stroke ways.
