There was a strong opinion column, written in the Washington Post, regarding MLB's "Insensitivity" about the scheduling of games, and tomorrow's scheduled MLB playoff game on Yom Kippur.

This article stated, that,. by scheduling the playoff game on the highest Jewish holy day, it forces fans to choose between either the baseball game.. or attending temple.

I used to know someone.. who believed that there should be no sporting events whatsoever on any holy religious holiday, including days such as Yom Kippur, Christmas, and Easter Sunday, etc.

Thoughts on this?

I wish I had not watched last night's Dodger game on the night of Kol Nidre.

But that has nothing to do with observing the holiday, which I last did in 1970.

I know, mils. I was sorry to hear about what happened to the Dodgers last night. Hopefully they will win the next game, and the series, against the Cardinals.
