Starting and running a successful BDSM playspace

Hey y'all,

So a bit about me, I'm a dabbler in the world of BDSM and for years I've wanted to open a playspace in Midtown Manhattan. So here are some things that I was wondering about:

1. Would I have to hire an experienced Domme to train the less experienced ones?

2. How would I ensure the safety of the girls who work for me?

3. How would I avoid problems with law enforcement?

4. Would disciplinary action involve either suspending a girl or just simply firing her, or would it involve ... well disciplinary action? Not necessarily spanking or caning per se but perhaps an extended tickle session. Granted this last question sounded like a fantasy scenario but I meant it in all seriousness.

If you want to run a fantasy, do it in your imagination.

If you want to run a business, then run it like a professional business. That means complying with all the laws on the books and being fair to your staff, vendors, and customers.

Anything less, and you set yourself up for failure; law suits; and/or jail time. To say nothing of irate customers and employees loved ones.

Having lived in NYC for a long time, I am sorry to say that my answer to number 3. is:
Pay large bribes every month both to the local precinct where your business is located and to higher vice squad officials in the NYPD.
