I agree. I will never understand why f/f tickling is soooo hawt but m/m tickling is gay and . In my opinion, m/m tickling is hilarious and awesome...and a little bit of sexy.

I knew a woman with a female friend who was very close. She would tell this friend about all her problems, and fights with her husband. She would give her foot massages, and they would spend a lot of time together; one time her friends send her a dozen of roses for Valentine Day. One day after a big fight with her husband, her friend made her move in the middle of an massage. Let just say they became closer then friends that day.
It also reminds me of sheryl swoopes; her trainer and long time friend became lovers after swoopes had fights with her husband. I said all that to say; your girl friend already know how far she is willing to go. If she decided to roll that way, all she looking for is an excuse,.

Because it is generally more common between women to touch than it is between men. Women walking hand in hand or arm in arm will not even be looked at, men who do the same thing will be considered gay - and most likely are, because straight men don't usually walk hand in hand. 🙂

My girlfriend has a ton of stories about a female friend who has tickled her a LOT over the years....giving foot a massage and then suddenly holding her feet down and torturing them, tickle threats "go change the radio station...if you don't, i'm going to tickle you...", lots of little pokes to the sides at restaurants, lots of little neck and ear tickles.

It makes me wonder something - forgive me if this is discussed a lot or common knowledge, but I'm very curious...

Is it a common thing for there to be straight women who are F/F ticklers/lees, either in the closet or out? Are most F/F lers/lees straight or lesbians, in terms of relationships and actual sexual preference?

I guess there's some element of that age-old question - when I see tickling or her stories, it's sexual without question to me, so I tend to project and think maybe it is for the ler in question too. But maybe it's all projection and most people who tickle just do it for the fun of it...

If you check out true stories, you'll see I am tickling a female co-worker lately because I'm SO BORED at work.

But that doesn't mean I'm bi-sexual. I just like to tease her and make her laugh.

In my past, my female friends have tickled me and I could tell from that look in their eye they were in the mood for a torture tickle fight (i.e. turn me into jelly) - but I am not comfortable with tickle fights with other women (sorry) - so I would run away or just prevent it from happening.

He probably found this the same way I did, by (gasp) being involved in theatre and observing. I was a theatre major, and later a minor, at University, and my experiences were similar to what Work said: girls, myself included, were less likely to have issues with lesbianesque behavior while the guys would do what they had to do for their roles but were often obviously more uncomfortable with same sex material. Now having said that, personally I don't believe it had as much to do with anyone being bi-curious so much as women having it easier than men in our society when it comes to bisexual behavior; the young men were *way* more concerned about how they would be seen by peers and family, even in a role, than the ladies ever had to be.

my wife gets tickled by her sister alot. her sister also likes to tickle other women. she is man crazy, so i don't think it is sexual for her. from watching the way she tickles (and she is very, very good at it) i think for her it's like "i can do this to you and you can't do anything about it". she is bigger and stronger than my wife and she says she likes to torture her "because she can"

Have to agree here.
Because we guys are very visual we tend to see every hand-hold, touch, or poke in the ribs from one female to another as instant lesbianism or at least bi-curious.
This is not the case. I had a girlfriend once who was very close to her female friends, had sleepovers etc. And she was sraight as a die.
Trust me, I did ask!!! 😉

here is the deal.... girls inter act with each other by being friendly, hugging sleeping in the same bed and tickling each other... its not sexual its just what they do.....guys play pranks on each other shoot each other with areosoft guns.... girls dance on each other guys drink at the bar together...... i mean its just the differences
