In a different thread in the TMF Sports Form, an ignoramus called the NL West "a pattycake Division."
This has inspired me to look at the net won-lost record of all 6 Divisions.
Here are the results, expressed as games above (+) or below (-) .500:
NLE +18
NLC +6
NLW +8
NL Total +32
ALE -2
ALC -64
ALW +34
AL Total -32
So it turns out in 2019 that were two strong Divisions (ALW, NLE), three middling Divisions (NLW, NLC, ALE), and one very weak Division (ALC).
