(I'm still very new at this, so there will probably be one from time to time.)

What is meant by "mainstream tickling"?

TR

There are no stupid questions in the forum...just stupid ppl, and Im not saying your stupid...lol. Its funny in my head I know what mainstream is but I cant seem to actually type a description. The only thing that comes to my mind is an example. For instince when a company that has a background of tickling stuff posts a pic its a tickle pic, but if somone is tickling a friend like spur of the moment type and takes a pic of it and posts it then thats considered mainstream. I know somone is gonna come along with a better description but I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

My take on it, via an example:

In the film "North to Alaska" (1960) there is a fairly long tickling scene, in which Steward Granger tickles Capucine's foot. Both are fully dressed; he tosses off her shoe to do the tickling.

That is called mainstream tickling because the film was made in the mainstream of culture. The makers of the film had no idea that I (among other viewers) would become intensely sexually excited by the tickling scene.

The opposite would be a film made by fetishists for fetishists, with the intention of getting the viewer sexually excited.

Milagros317............I really dont like you 😡 . Your answer blew mine out of the water. If our answers were ppl, yours would be the lineman of a football team and mine would be the little kid whose lunch money hes taking....lol. Good answer.

Mainstream tickling would be tickling that occurs in a mass-audience, non sexual setting.

If the tickling takes place in a non-sexual way but for a limited audience, then it can only loosely be described as mainstream. If it occurs in a film/programme/magazine etc. in a sexual setting, then it CAN be described as mainstream, provided it is made for the appreciation of the majority. But mostly, mainstream tickling occurs in a non-sexual context.

That's pretty much what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Thanks, all.

Another 'stupid' question

If no-one minds can I ask a 'stupid' question that has been puzzling me for a while?

What does 'Vanilla' mean I have seen it used several times in threads but I have never been sure exactly what it referred too. 😕

Can anyone help ??

In the context of this site, vanilla means interested in plain ordinary sex only, with no kinkyness. Probably in the missionary position only, with the lights off.

I always thought that 'Vanilla' meant that the person is NOT into what you are into. or, to put it more plainly, The person is a "Vanilla' because they have no experience in the activity in question.

Milagros sums it up well with his definition, Bart. Being 'new' at something might be 'cherry', or 'virgin'. i.e.--"Maxine had tried alotta crazy things in her life, but she was cherry to tied-up-ticklings".

Here's a stupid question:

Any updates on Florida's naked B.-&-E.-tickler from a coupla months or so ago? Was it the Tampa area? I forget. Is he still at it? Why haven't they caught him? Have they caught him? Stupid questions: I got `em!
