Good question.
At a "gathering" I would say, no but a long time ago, I went to a B/D S/M club in NYC(Paddles) and I saw one of my High School teachers there.(this was well after I had graduated)
That blew my mind. Too bad it was a male teacher or I would have had soooooooooooo much fun with that opportunity!😀 😉

From what I remember of him, that was his demeanor in real life. Especially ever since his wife died in his arms. He was a very sad man afterwards and became sort of self destructive. He never really recovered.

thank God NO! but like Ed, I did run into someone at a club.
I have always had a number of gay friends. not sure why this is... in most cases they are my friends before they even ‘come out’. but anyhow... I went out dancing in a gay club a few years ago and ran into a childhood girlfriend. it was funny. we kept looking at each other wondering if we should pretend we didn’t recognize each other or just say hi. we ended up saying hi and it was all good. of course this was way different. I am not gay so there was no ‘outing’ for me.
I’m not sure how I would react to running into someone like that at a gathering. guess it would depend on how I felt about them in my everyday life. either way tho, I’m sure my first reaction would be to want to dig a hole and crawl into it lol. after I remembered that you can’t actually die of embarrassment... I guess I’d be ok. 🙂

Similar to Ayla and TTD, I went to a male strip club in Altanta to celebrate one of my coworker's birthday.
This guy comes out on stage and I realize that he is a father of one of my students. :WOW:
He did a pretty good job too, but I refrained from stuffing anything anywhere on him.
It was pretty embarrassing and very funny. My coworkers (all teachers) went up to him. Good gracious. What could he say? He gave us his card and told us to call him if we ever wanted a private party.
