Surprise! Cena wins the title; Edge wins WWE Title in return

The best thing about the Survivor Series was Edge's return. Edge is the best in the WWE and I hope to see an Edge v. Jeff Hardy fued. And it was also nice to see HHH lose, although I'm sure he'll get the strap back sooner-rather-than-later.

Then there was the most predictable match of the night. There was no way Cena would lose with the build up he received each week. Plus, it's been more than a year since his last title reign. I was actually excited that Cena was returning, but this match reminded me why I will end up disliking him once again. We'll be treated to Cena "overcoming the odds" every week. I think they'll have a Cena/Orton fued to keep Cena seperated from Batista until WrestleMania. I hope I'm wrong.

The Raw v. Smackdown Divas match was what is expected. The ladies who can actually wrestle carried the match and it was great seeing Beth Phoenix win.

Randy Orton pinning Batista for the win was a highlight, too.

The casket match was decent. No as good as I expected but they carried their weight.

The Team Michaels v. Team JBL match was okay, also. Rey Mysterio was the star of that one.

Is anybody really surprised tho ? the reason Cena won the title is the same reason Edge is starting that romantic storyline with Vicky again.... The WWE has a lack of creative ideas so they are gonna recycle the same storylines .

I believed Y2J would keep the title until Armageddon.

BTW, I didn't know that Maryse uses the Figure-4 Leglock as finishing move.

I was hoping they'd wait a bit before handing the title over to Cena once again. No such luck. They really need to turn him heel just for the sake of mixing it up a bit. Now the Edge thing really surprised me. It was rumored that he and Christian would be returning together, but I guess not.

christian is coming back to wwe in a month ... and we can count on cena keeping the title till wm where he will defend aganist batista... and on the smackdown side i see edge v hhh its a shame they gave hardy the new persona and didnt do anything with it ... for ecw i see regal v matt hardy i think they r pushing regal for a world title run but i think they will give him a crack at the ecw title first just like they did with punk

I still have hope that Jeff Hardy will hang around the world title picture. He should, anyway. I mean, his chance was taken away from him by the guy who ended up winning. Now Regal, I'd love to see him win a world championship. The man is such an underrated performer. Here's hoping.

At the very least, I hope they'll have an Edge/Hardy match at the Royal Rumble. A ladder match would be nice.

We still don't know if Christian will really come back to WWE. There are only rumors.

I don't mind Cena getting the title. It's just that when he gets it, it's gonna be held hostage. The same thing with Triple H. If someone is gonna have a belt for an extended period then they should have entertaining storylines accompanying it.
