Survey: What would you rather watch if the events occured at the same time?

I'm curious what people will say to this question. Thsi was a hot topic at lunch today at work, so let me see what my fellow TMFers say.

Let's say the Super Bowl and the Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather fight happened on the same date at the same time? Which one would you watch and why?

For me it would depend on who was playing in the Super Bowl. I've lost enough respect for Mayweather I wouldn't bend over backwards to watch his ppv no matter who the opponent. So I would probably lean towards the Super Bowl unless it was a fluke matchup or two teams I really don't give a crap about.

Super Bowl. Not much into real fights.

Now if it were Super Bowl vs. Wrestlemania, that's a completely different story.

Neither, actually. I don't watch football or boxing.

The only two sports that I do watch are baseball and women's beach volleyball. 😀

Prime, I'd watch the Super Bowl every time. Its been a long time since a 'big' fight has lived up to the hype. On the other hand the SB has consistantly been a very exciting contest. The last several SBs have been close to the end. This question is a no-brainer in my opinion. Ask yourself how many times a PPV boxing match was worth the money. Rare.

A Pacquiao/Mayweather fight would be a once in a lifetime event. It better be a title fight, if not id still watch it over the Superbowl any day

Well since I'm not much of a boxing fan, I'd definitely have to go with the Super Bowl.
