ohhhh yess! haha! Before I taught myself to swim, I would go into the deep end to get a feel of the water and make sure I would remain calm if in danger. There was this one time, a friend of mine, David was swimming in front of me. My back was to the wall and I was holding on to the side w/ my arms out. He came up to me and said " why dont you come out some, in the middle, you could hold onto me" and I said no.. I'll just watch you for a bit. So he dove down.. grabbed my foot and brought it to the surface and started tickling me. I of course started giggling and telling him to stop and that I didnt wanna slip and go under. His point was to tickle me so I'd let go. After a few secs, he let my foot go and came close to me. He got a stupid grin on his face and I just KNEW what he was about to do. I told him "no...dont..dont you dare!" but of course that egged him on (I'm goood 😉 ) and he started tickling my sides and stomach. I squealed and wiggled around a little, but didnt let go. I would fight back w/ one hand at a time but I held on. He eventually gave up and said " you'll never get used to the deep end if you dont let go of the wall" and swam out, splashing me w/ his feet....
I have yet to get him back for that and will be going back to school in a few days where my swim schedule will pick up..
Also, not only can I swim, but I've become a certified lifeguard 😉
