Hi, I'm addicted to MMO's.

I figured that was a good way to get things started. I've recently been looking into trying out a new MMO since Blizzard has shafted WoW players who love pve...which happens to be me. Granted I've been annoyed with WoW for awhile, and it's still awhile before WAR comes out, I figured i'd give TR a try.

Now here's the dilemma, there aren't any straight up free trials (as I'm you know if you play the game or have looked into it). The only way to get a free trial is through someone who already plays. So if any of you play the game, enjoy the game, and happen to have a free trial code, drop me a PM.

If I like it I know I'll pick it up (I'm a sucker for special editions and the one available just looks adorable).

Thanks in advance.

Well you can do what I do and sign up for the Beta tests. I've gotten to play loads of MMORPG's before they were released, for free. and the ones I didn't like, I just didn't play any more. The Age Of Conan beta is coming up and they're still accepting people for the War Beta.

i'm addicted to games, especially MMO's too, lol. that's why i never even touched WoW.

i had EVE online, and after mining ores for literally a month till i could buy a battleship, i lost it in pirate space in less than 5 minutes, i was soooooo pissed.

i'm currently hooked on my all time favorite Planetside, and Hellgate: London is like crack to me, hehe. love that game.

looking forward to the agency coming out soon. just blows it ain't on the 360.

If you go looking around on the Internet, there is a guy named 'Zero-Punctuation' who gives game reviews. SCATHING game reviews, and he talks about Tabula Rasa. I recommend a second opinion.

I know all about the varied reviews of the game, and I look into many reviews before I buy a game. I generally make my decisions though, off of game forums. The forums are going to get you the glitches, unfinished areas, upcoming changes. Game reviews, don't always get you a lot of the info. It's pretty much what was said in penny arcade about Assassin's Creed, the reviews have a lot of games to review. I'd hate to only have a set time to check out and review any game, especially an MMO.

Oh, and as far as Zero-Punctuation goes? Basically worthless to me, and anyone who enjoys MMO, because he doesn't like them. Much like when I read gaming magazines chronically. Many reviewers would post what they like, and if I saw that someone who primarily like FPS reviewing an RPG I took it with a grain of salt. Also the fact that generally ZP's reviews generally lean towards making fun of a game (not that they're bad, but the almost never leave you with any real information except that he doesn't like fat people and likes wrapping lettuce around his cock).

I do appreciate the link, hadn't seen his review of this one yet, made me laugh.

Dude's name is Yahtzee. His article is called "Zero-Punctuation" and he works for theescapist. 😀

He posts a new review every wednesday...😀

I just got Sins of a Solar Empire, which is ok. would've been better is in ran a certain storyline plot, but no, it's like EVE or Starwars oline meets Battlefield 2.

all you do is skirmishes which tend to last hours. nice action and depth, though.
