Tahiri Veila: Barefoot Jedi

this is not a character i came up with. Tahiri is an existing character from the Star Wars expanded universe of novels. character bio can be found here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tahiri_Veila One of the things that drives me crazy about Tahriri ever since i first learned about this barefoot Jedi is that no matter HOW much fanfiction i go through, no writers EVER seem to...you know 😉...take ADVANTAGE of her barefootedness, lol. Also that there's no official artwork once she gets through puberty that show her feet. I guessthat's one of the things i like about her, she seems to avoid what we want to see, lmao. Anyway, here's my 2 cents. Or 2 "credits", since this is Star Wars.

i first learned about her a few years ago in an article of Star Wars Insider called "Who's Who In the New Jedi Order?", and i was reading up on the girls, and under "TRAINEES" there was this one girl, Tahiri, and when my eyes came upon the words "prefers to go barefoot", my mind kinda went "say WHAT?! 😀😀😀😀😀" Ever since then i've been trying to learn as much as i can about her, which has been hard, since i have trouble finishing a lot of the larger novels. All i've really read with her is the now out-of-print Junior Jedi Knights book series for kids, which was her first appearence when she was nine and free-spirited. It had sum cute lil' barefoot moments with her, sadly none that i can describe in detail, since i got them from my local library.

A noteworthy quote from her is "Shoes were invented by the Sith to keep our delicate toes in anguish and misery, I'm sure of it."

I'm a huge StarWars fan myself, so this is absolutely awesome to hear about. I already thought of like Mara Jade or Bastilla (Knights of the Old Republic) with barefeet, but it's rare to find anything about that.

i wonder if her feet would be soft or rough from all the barefoot walking/running & jumping/fighting.

I would love to have my face pressed against a wall by her feet either way. It'd even be great if she could just press my face against a wall with her heel and hold me there while my feet dangle several inches above the floor.

What an amazing fantasy woman she would be and I wish there was more barefoot art work of her. Especially if she would use those feet to defeat her enemies!

i like to imagine that they're soft. after all, it's fiction ^^ tho i have been told that in recent years she'll wear boots when it comes to going on missions. after all, u never know what terrain u'll encounter

unfortunately, the only "official" artwork that shows her feet is where she's still little, so if we want to see her barefoot when she's older, we have to rely on fanart
