Please Note: Also includes a preview of 4 character sketches from Tammi the Tickle Witch 2: Girls just want to have fun. The 2nd issue is already in production and we hope to have a Christmas release.

There’s a new girl at the University. Tammi Griffin is a cute and spunky blonde, with personality to burn. Her new friend Rachael loves hanging with her, but Tammi is a little different from most girls. You see, she’s a witch. And not just a witch, but a Tickle-Witch, a sorceress with a special affinity for magic connected with laughter. Her Aunt Iris (a very experienced witch in her own right) is hoping Tammi will settle down to her studies, but Tickle-Witches just want to have fun! Rachael soon learns that Tammi is not above using her powers for mischief, and things take a truly ticklish turn when ditzy Professor Pringle tries stealing a spell. Soon the girls find themselves fighting a demoness who prefers tickling soles to stealing souls!

TAMMI THE TICKLE-WITCH is the latest addition to the MTJ family. The storytelling skills of veteran tickle-scribe Colin (LAUGHING BOYS, LEXI) find a perfect match in the delicious manga-styled artwork of Mako Fufu. TAMMI is pure tickling magic!

Why don't you accept Solo cards.
*sob* I can't buy it without cause i only have a solo card

This is surprisingly action packed and very animated comic! The output is rich and every scene gives rewards to all the expected anticipation a reader wants in a tickling comic.

The story is great, unpredictable and not a cliche. I like that exploitation of magic and sense of mystery. It has been well expressed and compatible to the art. To start your halloween, this is worth buying and collecting.

I love every panel of this comic!

I purchased it this morning, too.

It's a wonderful comic; I was pleasantly surprised since I don't normally order tickle-based material. It's a very nice, warm look at tickling filled with mischief; it was interesting to see the artist's vision on tickling.

I will be contacting my CC provider on Monday and start the ball rolling for MTJpub.com to begin accepting "Solo." We could not in the past because our shopping cart provider did not offer "Solo" as an option. However it does now:super_hap

Cheers mate. As soon as I get payed on wednesday I'll order this. It'll be the first tickle related thing I've ever purchased and hopefully not the last.

This is a really, really great comic. At the first look on the preview that was posted a while ago, I could already tell this was going to be a really polished, well drawn and professionally made comic.
The linework, viewpoint angles, panel layout and colouration are all very high class, something that you would expect to find in any major anime/manga print publication. I noticed some very cool uses of patterns and textures as well, in a very stylish way.
It is strange, for an artist so adept at tickling art, that we have not seen any tickling related art Mako Fufu on our beloved forum before... but that might just be me not checking everything new. Regardless, it was a wonderful surprise to see a new and very talented artist join the ranks of MTJ.

Of course something must also be said about the exellent writing by Colin. Known for his work on "Lexi", his stories always have that playful, cheerful touch, at which he excells, and in this comic (series?) goes so well together with the cute drawing style of Mako Fufu.

Exellent work! 🙂

Thank you for all of the great feedback on "Tammi."

Let us know if there is anything you might like to see in future issues.

Damn you!!

Damn you, Colin! Damn you, Mako Fuku!!

And you, MTJ Publishing...damn you, too!!

Damn.

Damn.

Damn, damn, damndamndamn YOUUUUU!!!!

I'm a poor college student!!

I only had a little over $20.00 in my bank account! I was nearly broke!!

And now, I AM BROKE!!!

I couldn't resist! I couldn't resist placing the order. I. Could. Not. I'm not strong enough. I'm a weakling.

A weakling!!!

The artwork was just so irresistably CUTE and AMAZING, that I couldn't turn my head away.

The plot seemed so promising that my curiosity would not be sated until I had my hands on the issue.

Together, I HAD NO CHANCE!! I had to get it. I had to. It was an inevitability. I had. No. Chance.

So I bought it.

Now I'm broke, but I bought it. I did. It's here, on my computer. I read it. Looked at the pictures. I did. It's done.

...

...and by golly, it was worth every damn penny!!

Seriously, the artwork were just sooooo irresistably cuuuuute that I couldn't help but let out a few man-squees at it as I read. I thought it was well balanced, for a seemingly short little comic (it's the first one I've purchased from MTJ, so maybe that accounts for much of my over-enthusiasticness xD). A lot happened, so it didn't seem slow or watered down, at all...and yet, the story entwined it so well that it didn't seem too much, either. The characters were fairly round, considering the brevity of the comic, and none of them seemed wasted, to me (even the cat played a big part, which is neato...makes me think of Sailor Moon, in a way. Yeah, shush. xP). It satisfied my curiosity (and sent me to cuteness overload, besides), and really got me excited for the next one that shall hopefully make its appearance next Christmas.

Very, very good job, both to Mako and to Colin, for collaborating on a very well-done piece of work. And thanks, MTJ Publishing, for making it available to us all. I just wish I had more money so I could get ready for part two!! :super_hap

But still, damn you. 😛
