Hi All! Have any of you bought the iHome 4 usb, 2 outlet charger?

I bought it becomes of it's 6 foot cord, and ease to mount to the wall.
All the stuff that I've tried to charge in it works fine, except for my Kindle. I plug my Kindle into it, and my Kindle will not shutdown and opens random apps. Kind of like it's been hacked, but only when it's hooked up to that charger.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
