thanks and apologies

While Drew & I made it to NEST, we didn't get to spend much time or see too many folks. We've been in the midst of a nightmare situation with my brother who is dying and is refusing all efforts to at least get him somewhere to be safe for the time he has left. (He's now sick, confused and homeless.) It was a much needed distraction to come and be with our friends for a bit. Apologies to those I had to just walk away from without saying hello. There were points where I just needed to be alone....and points where I was still trying to talk him into letting us help.

Anyway, it ws good to see those we actually got to talk with. We've really missed all you wonderful people...and had new folks we'd hoped to meet. To Lee and everyone who helped to make this final public NEST so great, many thanks!

Sorry to hear about your brother. They would not issue me a Day Pass, so there was No NEST for me this year.
