Mac users will curse me tho...had to break it up in 3 parts. Use hjsplit utility (get it from my sig site). You know the drill...

2nd and 3rd parts are ok

the attachments are ok. Maybe it's how you combined the 3 parts that's wrong...here's how you do it again:

1. d/l all 3 parts.
2. unzip all parts (001-003) in one folder
3. use hjsplit to join all 3 parts (input only 001). If you don't have this utillity, get it at my signature site (it's just 300++ kb i think)
4. the result of the "joined" parts is a whole file of 3.345 MB in size lasting longer than a minute.

So you really cannot re-create parts 2 and 3 without part 1 (tho you may re-create just part 1 which is is just a portion of the total file).

Have any of you heard of the usenet standard, Winrar?
It does compression as well as splitting files...one stop shopping..
Try it you will like it..

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm familiar with it. The work around is pretty much the same: break/compress into desired sizes (you'll have .rar, r00, r01, etc. instead of 001, 002, etc.) Then you still have to zip the parts ('coz rar is an invalid upload on here). Then the download drill's the same except you only extract the .rar (together with the rest) to complete the whole file.

The advantage here is that the double compression will further make the file smaller, tho minimal. But more importantly, I think, Mac users can use winrar. Right?

The advantage i find in the hjsplit (as a downloader) is that I can just recreate the first of the many parts (which you can't do with the winrar) to see if I like the clip (especially if there's no description). If i do, then I proceed to get the other parts. If not, I skip the rest. It's not a big deal for those with faster connection but for me (a poor, prehistoric dial-upper), it makes a whole lot of difference.
