The Agencies #10...what a disappointment (no art)

After almost a week and a half of waiting for my PayPal cheque to clear, I finally got my copy of The Agencies #10. Unfortunately, I have to be honest and say I was unbelievably disappointed. And this from a guy who has loyally bought The Agencies ever since the new format with the beautiful artwork.

The art is, as ever, FANTASTIC. But that's the only thing I liked.

There are are so few tickling panels, it's deprerssing. And many of the ones there *are*, are close-ups of feet or essentially repetition of the previous panel. It's ALL foot tickling, nothing else, and to be honest, I'm bored to death of the all-foot scenarios. I'm an upper body fan, especially the armpits, and we see so very little upper body tickling in tickle comics, almost zero.

I recall messages in previous posts dealing with the release of #10, saying there was going to be lots of nude chests. Am I wrong? Was that about #11? Everyone LOVED that *single* page of Veronica bare-chested, and I recall there being a promise to show a lot more. There isn't even a nice panty shot.

Starlight is a gorgeous woman, and drawn that way. What a waste we see so little of her. Which brings me to my next point, something Bandito has brought up before, and which I heartily agree with.

Tickling in this context, and of the kind found in other tickle comics and individual art pieces posted here and on Tickle Theatre, is a tickle FETISH. As in *sexual* fetist. Tickling of this type is either foreplay for sex, or sex itself, or done during sex at the same time.

There is virtually nothing truly sexual in The Agencies, nor is there in most tickle comics for sale. Which is frankly silly. This is a tremendously sexual subject, and no sexual edge? Please.

I really REALLY hope #11 is a hellava improvement over #10, which sucked. I'm still a fan of The Agencies, the girls have so much potential, I dearly hope it get better from here on in. Nudity, sexual moods, body tickles, and how about *girls who actually ENJOY* being tickled?

Although i have never read "the agencies" i do have to agree with the above statement that Tickling is a sexual fetish and it seems that the majority of comics and stories in general deal more tword the "torture" side of tickling.
granted, thst in itself is a fetish, but for once i would love to se a ticklish woman tortured to a ticklish climax.

I couldn't agree more! It's always violence and cruelty. Gods forbid there be sex, pleasure, orgasms, girls loving their tickles, full or partial nudity, consensual and loving tickle games... No, no can't have that, can we?

Taboo seems to be a good word. Almost as if the main tickle comics are afraid to show it for some reason.

I tend to agree that tickling art would benefit from a more erotic edge. There are some artists here, however, that do a wonderful job of that, such as tyklfind, off the top of my head. I too would love to see more tickling towards orgasm, as it seems like a poorly covered area

Tickling is a sexual fetish for SOME of you (ok many of you) but not for everyone. The same with tickling to orgasm. The same with nylons, feet, licking, .........

For me a lot here is too close to sex. But I respect the others, since this is a general tickling forum, not a "tickling with obligatory sex" forum.

Imagine a car forum where members who like having sex in a car insist about talking about sex only and forget all that car stuff like tuning, wheels and so on.

And to be honest, there are not sooo many clips/pics where the ticklee is NOT naked or close to naked. Particularly is there a remarkable number of */m pics and comics where NO errectet penis is the first thing you see?

I'd say there really is no reason to complain for the sex-related tickling fans!

I'll have to agree with the OP and state that issue #10 is a bit of a disappointment. The artwork is great, as usual, but considering the subject - and more specifically what happened to her in issue #5 - I was hoping for more extensive tickle torture. She was so brutally tickled in issue 5 (which is still my favorite of all the agency comics) I was hoping to see more of the same with this one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan and potential customer for future releases, but issue 10, despite featuring my favorite character, isn't a favorite.

Thanks for listening. Who knows, maybe it's a setup for issue 11 - that guy Tom needs to exact a lot more revenge, imo.
