“The Babysitter”. Most disappointing movie ever?

When that movie came out years ago, I was so amped. Robert Coover’s book has 2 or 3 tickling scenes, IIRC. Plus it had Alicia Silverstone as the babysitter. I was introduced to the book in college, I think, as we all had to read it and discuss, and the prof was an attractive woman who kept talking about “the big tickle”.

It was so woeful as a film, and in retrospect how could it not be, with Coover’s time jumping and the same scenes recounted differently.

I could t find it on YouTube but it was such a disappointment.
