What was the best happening of 2003 for you or what are you thankful for in 2003??


For me and my family it was the addition of our beautiful daughter Amanda. We received our call in the middle of January 2003 that we had been assigned a little girl, we named her Amanda, she was born Nov 18th, 2002 and was awaiting our arrival in Bogota, Colombia to start life with her new family. A week later my husband, the happy big brother and I flew down and the next wday they placed an angel forever in our hearts. For us it completed our family...now we can look forward to the future of laughter, tears and accomplishments.

I second that, hands down. Another thing is having the family I love so much. I am very thankful for that.

It was a rough start of the year, but is ending better than I could have hoped. Last May, I met McGyver Tklr for lunch. We had talked on the phone a few times and decided to meet. I already knew that I would be away in California all summer, and though the attraction was immediate, we decided not to pursue anything until I got back.
We talked a lot on the phone during the summer when I had time off.

The day after I got home, he came over to see me and we have been together ever since. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life and am starting to believe he is the soul mate I have been looking for all my life.
