Greetings and salutations, my fellow purveyors of prose! Thank you all for joining me today for this very special occasion, as I officially announce the beginning of a new fiction series, one that will transcend beyond the borders of our own world, extending to the outermost corners of our universe.
Here it goes:
We have all found ourselves, at one point or another in our lives, staring up into the glistening night sky, questioning if we are truly alone in the infinite vacuum of space, or, if there is indeed life out there, just waiting for us to find them. Well, what if I told you that, some day in the future, we were to discover that there was not just one other sentient species populating the universe, but two, and that we shared more in common with them than we could possibly imagine?
Well, that is exactly what I am here to do today: introducing The Cerulean Chronicles, an ongoing science fiction epic detailing what happens when three advanced civilizations are forced to collide on the galactic stage. There will be diplomacy, mythology, intrigue, space travel, and tickling…
…yes, lots and lots of tickling.
Meet the three sentient lifeforms populating our known universe: the Gaians, a technology-savvy people whose relentless ambition would initiate first contact with their extraterrestrial brethren, spawning a who new era of cultural exchange; the Ceruleans, a noble race built around their central ruling monarchy, whose steadfast traditions have been maintained over the course of an unprecedented era of stability and peace throughout the kingdom; and the Korlos, a battle-hardened civilization, inhabitants of an inhospitable wasteland, whose isolationist ways have spelled doom for those who dared enter their forbidden territory in search for the treasures kept within.
Follow the harrowing journey of Ju’un, a Cerulean princess in pursuit of the thief who stole the Dashi’i Crystal, a powerful relic that has served as the key to maintaining stability in her father’s kingdom. Watch as she meets a cast of characters that will help her on her journey along the way: N’ubi, a proud Tyrian warrior, descendent of the sister kingdom of the Ceruleans, whose tall stature and prominent skill in battle is only dwarfed her willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her homeland; and Mara Fitzpatrick, a Gaian revolutionary, whose struggle against the suppressive regime of her home world has led her to be branded a galactic terrorist, accruing a shoot-on-sight order effective in all UGE colonies across the galaxy.
Along the way, they will cross paths with the likes of the most nefarious creatures this galaxy has to offer: Commander Grace Holloway, a bloodthirsty Gaian officer, whose bloodthirsty ambitions leads her to squash all those that try to stand in her way; Viru’la the Seductress, leader of a roaming band of Naruvian slavers, who sees profits through satisfying the deviant pleasures of her wealthy clientele above all else in the galaxy; and Elviren, a Korlos vixen of exceptional beauty, that which merely betrays the sadistic edge she embodies in her most insidious craft of interrogation, something that not even the resilient N’ubi could resist for very long regardless the stakes.
Just what do these three have to gain working together? What dark corners of the galaxy must they explore in order to restore order to the Cerulean home world? What secrets do they hold that would drive them together, or that could just as soon drive them apart?
