The death of a forum: What will be left behind.

You know...something interesting (Like everything I say) came to my mind. Eventually this forum...everyone and everything in it, will be obscured and forgotten in the sands of time. Will anybody even be using this forum 50-100 years from now? Will it be discovered thousands of years later through reverse engineering? What kind of impact will it have and how would you like to make that impact...even if it is only on a marginal portion of a population.

(Personally I think people will have thought as me as a deep, but very unstable individual and damn it if they think otherwise. You hear me people of the future...I will radish you all...!)

One thing I am convinced of: non-fetishist stumbling upon this website have a small chance in actually gaining interest in it and eventually become tickling adepts.

This makes it important for us to make the general topics as active and free of sexual content as much as possible. It will make us appear 'normal' and when they later find out what we really stand for, they at least have an idea what kind of people we might be.

Well...It appears my thread has become a prediction or at least...inevitability. The amount of members and lurker activity has been decreasing almost to a minimal. With the poor amount of feed back in the last month, I declare this forum to be in the stages of death throws before it just silently dies.

Maybe. The internet as we know it is not going to exist for long after 2010. The internet has evolved over the years and will continue to do so. I've been reading articles lately about alleged plans to scrap today's internet for something "better" to come along.

Oh that's easy. You see my personality relies more on facts than feelings. From an Istp's perspective, feelings are the least important function we need and only serves as an internal function. Therefore feelings have almost little to no affect on my attitude unless put into a logical perspective. Unfortunately this can be seen as cold. By the way...Stay on topic you trash talking...whatever the hell you are...

I could see the TT lasting a while but I can definitely also see many forums spawning from this one. A while ago, the major forum was the TMF and in most cases it still is. The TT was created after it so you could say it spawned from TMF, though indirectly. People will get bored of certain forums and vacate them for "greener pastures". (I'm seeing it with TT and TMF) The seeking of those pastures will see that these forums, dedicated to tickling, last a long time... not particular forums but the concept in general.
