Only a creep would tickle someone in a workplace setting after being told not to. Unfortunately, some ticklephiles are creeps.

That article bothered me on several levels.
Having just been through an ugly lawsuit, I could sympathize with that woman and the humiliation she must have felt, being forced to rehash all of this in a courtroom setting. It's an awful experience, far worse than most people realize.
This was an appauling breech of personal boundaries, and this guy is little better than a predator... at best.

For me workplace touching (let alone tickling) of a member of staff by another is usually a form of bullying and dominance of the person being touched, and means of showing off to other co-workers. Magnify all of the above if it is by a senior member of staff.
A lot of guys don't seem to get this, so I would say imagine if the boot was on the other foot. Only instead of a woman touching and tickling you, make that your 6ft 6inch gay male supervisor. You might laugh if you were unexpectedly tickled by him, but I am sure you wouldn't find it funny.
If touching and tickling is welcomed then make arrangements for it to take place outside of work. After all even if it is enjoyed by the parties involved, it can be embarrasing and distracting for co-workers in the vicinity.

OMG! What was really amazing was the statements by the co-workers. None of them took it seriously and looked at it as fun and games. Obviously they didnt want to get involved and it seemed some of the girls was trying to protect the guy. The fact that none of the girls stepped in to help her makes me wonder if they didnt secretly get off on it. I would love to see some physical revenge take place on this guy.

I'm not sure if Mr. Berryman simply couldn't control his urge to tickle or if he was just arrogant. But how many times does a woman who gives you no encouragement have to say "Stop" before you get the hint?
