It's about time! All the eagles fans I know are thrilled they finally decided to can him. I think it's something that should have happened a long time ago. Better late than never I guess.

He probably got the Call before he even left the Stadium.

I do feel bad because before this Terrible Season, he lost one of His Sons. He'll Coach again somewhere.

Also Micheal Vick is probably gonna be Gone.

I haven't heard anything official as of yet, but I'm sure it will happen. It sounds like Reid should have no problem finding another head coaching job if he wants one.

I heard they are going to make an official statement tomorrow. After this horrid season i'm not surprised at all.

The Chiefs had better clean house starting with GM Scott Pioli on down to the ushers.

With the way things have gone here in Philly I'm not fully believing it until I see the official announcement. People still love him regardless of this seasons abysmal showing.

As I've posted before, I watch the newscast from WPVI, ABC in Philly, on a regular basis online. I've been hearing the speculation about this for weeks, and the move isnt a surprise to me.

While I understand Nicole's point, and while I cant say I know the Eagles exact situation specifically, I'm one who believes that an ownership cant always completely blame the head coach or manager of a team for a disappointing season. The thing is, its always easier to let go of one head coach, than to overhaul the whole roster of a troubled team.

Andy Reid has had a long head coaching career. As was said earlier in this thread, he will probably be able to get another coaching position if he desires.

And I'll let you know as soon as it works for the Browns, okay??

Sometimes you need to handle your team as the franchise it is; it is a business and the business is winning games, playoffs, and even championships. The Browns have been in the toilet since the 1990s and just hasn't recovered even when the franchise came back to Cleveland. I honestly don't know what to say about them because it's just one crappy season after another. It's certainly not because of fans because they're there every Sunday watching them lose game after game.

Maybe you look at it from a business standpoint and scrap the non performers.......all of them. If that means you end up with a brand new team for a couple of years, then it is what it is. I haven't watched them play for over a year and to my understanding, I haven't missed much.:sowrong: It's not fair to loyal fans to have a crap team and even crappier management.
