I recently underwent surgery and for the first time in 38 years I was given general anaesthesia.Anyone put to sleep knows the experience - you don't dream, you basically pass out and wake up,loosing all track of time.(Rather eerie to think of!).
Have you ever tried to think back to the earliest known memory in your brain and then try to go further back but draw a complete blank!?
(Maybe I'm venturing into the whole existence thing..."Why are we here?!..Where did I come from!?..Where will I end up?!):wow:

My earliest memory is something that took place in Kindergarten. I knocked over some kid's blocks... the only time I can think of that I was intentionally mean to someone. I must have been disciplined for it because I was a pretty decent kid afterward.

I can remember the 1984 Presidential Debates being on TV.I was only like 3,so I couldn't have known what was going on,but I do remember seeing them covered by Peter Jennings really clearly for some reason.

I was 4 when JFK was assassinated and every time I've seen replays of the funeral procession,I remembered seeing that on TV when I was 4.
I did not know what was happening at that time but I do remember the riderless white horse and the procession of drummers.(on Black & White TV)

Thinking back, I think the furthest back I can remember is when my grandfather tickled (hmmmm...coincidence 😉) me to the point where I couldn't say a single word. I was about 5 at the time. In order to get him to stop, he made me say "Uncle" three times which I managed to do with great effort

I have a vague memory of seeing The Beatles on "The Ed Sullivan Show". I was just a toddler but I know they made some impression on me. They're still my favorite group of all time.
