Now that this NFL season is over, no better way to get over the hangover than to make impossible predictions about the next year.

If you get yours right you'll be a genius and even if you're wrong, you can get off the hook because no one takes this early predictions seriously. 😀

My Super Bowl pick for next year:

Green Bay 24-Baltimore 20

Most improved/'Surprise' Playoff teams:

Houston & San Fransisco

Worst two teams:

Rams & Raiders

a friend of a friend of mine, and I have agreed that the next superbowl will be....

the 49ers and the Raiders... lol

Okay but now let's get serious lol..

I don't have a clue who will go to the Superbowl, I'm not going to get...

all I know is I think the 49ers will lead their division this years. They could have this year but with probems they couldn't... and if they don't lead it I think they'll still make it into the play offs by the Wild Card route..

Two worst teams?
Being a 49er fan I want to say the Raiders bc well I hate them, but I'm not sure... the Chiefs might be the worst along with the Rams, but are you forgetting the lions? Yeah I'm going with the Lions as the worst... Lions and the Rams...

superbowl
steelers 31 packers 20

two most improved teams

raiders and detroit

two worst teams

giants and bills

got call bullshit on that one. :bsflag:

that is the biggest homer pick ever. do you remember that your team didn`t even make the playoffs :idunno:

true but it is the same team that won it all 2 years ago so i dont see it as a stretch

that is light-years as far as NFL is concerned . You had first better hope Polamalu comes back healthy or that team is in big big trouble.

New Orleans, Dallas, Green Bay or Minnesota wins Super Bowl XLV. The balance of power has shifted to the NFC within the past few years.

Burgh started 6-2, won their last three and missed the playoffs on a tie breaker.

All this despite injuries to Aaron Smith, Polamalu and Big Ben and the incompetence of Bruce Arians.

The running game and Bruce Arians are the bigger problems.

Granted, Polamalu means alot (as does a second corner better than William !@#$%^ Gay), but fnishing 9-7 while beating Denver, San Diego, Tennessee, Baltimore, Miami, Minnesota and Green Bay and losing all your games by 7 points or less is not far off from being a legit contender.

It's hardly inconceivable or a stretch to say that Burgh could be back in the Super Bowl next year. However, if Flacco comes to and Rice repeats his performance next season, Baltimore will be scary as hell. (And for the record: The Bungles are who we thought they were.)

the Steel curtain lost to also-ran patsies in the the BEARS, CHIEFS , RAIDERS , BROWNS and BENGALS TWICE....most people considered Cin cin one of hte worst teams before the season and they manhandled Steelers twice .

Steelers have issues on OFF & DEF Lines as well . Could they make playoffs next year? sure but they better improve aging club before we make them Superbowl Contenders for next year .

And one more thing.....I was giving my good friend Trez a hard-time as much as anything!!! 😀

All losses were by <7 points.

And the Bengals losses were by a combined 9 points and the first loss after Burgh led 20-9 w/ 14 minutes to go (excuse me, I need to go and beat myself over the head with a hammer for a minute... *loud thudding* Okay, better now 😀)

Also, Burgh led the Raiders and Chiefs games by 10+ points and lost on in the waning minutes and OT. The Bears loss was because Jeff Reed missed 2 FG's... crap, I need that hammer again! :banghead:)

So at the end of the day, Burgh was :30 in reg away in three games from being 12-4... and it's SO sad... :cry1:

Only Houston and San Fran had worse heartbreaks this year.

I need a drink...

Steelers have issues on OFF & DEF Lines as well .

And secondary... good God! I never thought I'd miss Bryant McFadden!

Could they make playoffs next year? sure but they better improve aging club before we make them Superbowl Contenders for next year .

True, but they'd still make my top ten contenders as opposed to... if someone said Bengals or Dolphins, I'd call BS. 😀

It's all good. And in all fairness:

Pittsburgh fans are loyal as hell and therefore a LITTLE crazy. But Pats and Cowboy fans still take the cake! :jester:

Now where's my hammer and drink??? 😀

My Super Bowl pick for next year:

If Favre doesn't retire...

Vikings vs. Colts, Colts win

If Favre does retire...

Saints vs. Colts, Colts win (yes, a rematch)

Most improved/'Surprise' Playoff teams:

Tennessee and Atlanta

Worst two teams:

Buccaneers & Lions

Favre aint retiring, and its Minnesota's turn next year... people wanted to talk about The Saint's Destiny in 09...well look out Its Minnesota's destiny in 2010, Favre second Ring and once he's accomplished that..then and only then is He ever going to retire

He was suppose to do that this year. You predicted they were Super Bowl bound. After they lost...we didn't hear from you. I thought maybe you were cheering Favre up personally. Which is awfully nice of you.

You also claim he will not retire until he gets a second ring does this mean we will see Brett Favre until he is as old as Abe Vigoda? Please say it isn't so!

Personally I don't believe he will retire yet...Idk the guy is stubborn, and he's not a God by any means, all im tryin to say is he has a passion for the game. They lost to the Saints, and even though I am a hardcore Vikings fan to the end, I admit they didnt play the way that a Superbowl bound team should have. Theres always next year. NFL is so unpredictable, Power shifts left and right in this league. It's just my prediction that he will be back..He wants that second superbowl ring more than i want 70 billion dollars. He is hungry for that Championship win. I don't want to see him stay forever that is just sick and messed up, but the guy is 40 years old and still plays like he is in his late 20's early 30's. In my opinion he still has a season or two in him. I guess we wont know for sure until it happens though.
