The Ghost Thread

A true story though not maybe ghostly but spooky:

A friend of my father (whose name was Ed) had inherited a book from one of his relatives. It was a very, very old book with strange markings on the outside. When he openned the book the room became very cold and as he turned the pages there were all sorts of bizarre writings and markings on each page. Soon he began to hear demonic laughter in the background and this scared him to the point where he closed the book suddenly. He threw the book into the fireplace which had a roaring fire going and went to the bathroom to wash his face. When he came out the book was sitting outside the fireplace grating on the floor without a burn mark on it. Quickly Ed grabbed the book and a shovel and drove miles out into the California desert. He dug a huge deep hole and buried the book and drove back. Anxiously he openned the door to his house terrified that the book would be there but he was lucky there was no book. He did not sleep well that night and somewhere in the California desert is a book of great evil. You make look for it if you like but like any good book this one you can't put down. Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!

I was taken snipe hunting in a cemetery, LOL at the time I had no clue! A DUH! Anyway here I am straddling a creek with a burlap bag in hand just waiting on them there snipes to run out into my bag!!!!! Are ya, still with me? Oh I forgot to tell you I was told that you had to whistle :blaugh: Yeah right! These guys are toast when I get my hands on them, did I mention it was after midnight? All of a sudden about maybe 3 feet ahead of me I saw a strange mist like almost like it was fog but the night was clear :eek It just seemed to float across as if it was coming towards me....when I get scared, I can't move! I freeze, so there I am all alone straddling this creek with this stupid bag in my hand trying like hell to whistle but what I really wanted to do was run like hell and scream! It floated passed me and settle over a grave and it just floated there.....it went down into the grave and yes my now I need to change my panties, ok! Up until then I never believed in ghost although my Gram would tell us stories of them. I was made a believer that night for sure.:wow True story!

Now if you have the nerve and are brave continue with this and just let's see if you have the nerve and how brave you are? This is not for someone with a weak heart! Again, please note: this is not for someone with a weak heart.....I think Shinning Ice should go first, I mean after all he is the Daddy of this here thread! Please hold your comments about it so that it does not spoil the surprise for Shinning Ice! Thanks!😀

i've always believed in ghosts.

i don't believe they can hurt us though. to be able to move objects, or cause harm, marks ect., they'd have to be corporial.
i'd like to be tickled by a ghost though, in my dreams it was fun at least.

well I have nothing to share as far as Ghost, only the movie Ghost whice was fantastic! Love the theme song, and there were ghost in it.

I'm afriad to say it, but I think maybe.....just maybe....espically after some of the shit I've seen here....
 
I am told that ghosts are the result of the fact that there is no orange marmalade in the spirit world. They come here looking for orange marmalade in our world where it is plentiful. Sometimes at night if you listen quietly you can here them chant....Orrrrangge Maaaaaarmalaaaaaaaade......Orrrrangge Maaaaaarmalaaaaaaaade ..... Orrrrangge Maaaaaarmalaaaaaaaade.
