Superman Vs. Thor, okay YES Thor is somewhat magic base but honestly Norse magic in Marvel seems more like super advanced tech. Plus don't forget Super Man also has a SUPER brain. He's A LOT smarter than most people realize.

Doomsday would beat the Hulk. Doomsday has no need for breathing,eating,and sleeping. Plus,he is of Kryptonian origin. Whenever DC and Marvel did a crossover,Superman always beat The Hulk.

Darkseid vs Thanos.
I think that would be a draw ending in both of them dying.

Slight edge to Hulk, who is described as being indestructible. The only way he is ever delt with is being sent out to float in space forever since he can never be killed. Doomsday is no joke, however, so it would be a battle for the ages...literally taking ages possibly.

Believe me ; I'm not at all impressed by the intelligence of the denizens of Metropolis ( & the rest of the DC Universe for that matter ) for continually being duped by a simple pair of spectacles adorning the face of their most famous & most celebrated superhero.

But c'mon ... Superman is the guy who thinks it's a good idea to wear his civilian clothes over his costume. A costume which consists of ... hello ... a cape.

You mean to tell me that when he's running around doin' his Clark Kent reporting-thing , that all the while he's got a lengthy piece of superfabric all bunched up in the back of his shirt and/or trousers? Mhm. Sounds like something someone w/a "super" brain would think of.

Because of his physical capabilities his brain power isn't hardly ever shown. He's capable of being just as smart as Lex Luthor and as cunning as Batman. The writers just don;t use it all that often. He'd be way too over powered.

If this oh , so impressive brainpower you claim Superman possesses is hardly ever on display ( i.e. he's rarely been seen doing anything considered brilliant ) , then how can it be said that he's , among other things , "super smart"? You're making a leap over a tall building of logic w/that one.

Superman's an idiot. Thor would spank that dolt's lonely Kryptonian ass all the way to the Phantom Zone & back.

Superman perennially has has his clocked cleaned by a bald, powerless, child-hood rival (Lex Luthor)... so its not too beyond the pale to imagine Thor (with godlike powers) able to easily mop the floor with him on every level (and yes Zod, Thor has some pretty good 'range' attacks of his own: magical Mjolnir the Hammer, not to mention calling lighting strikes from the sky at will) ... all he need do is get Stupidman beyond the reach of our yellow sun and poof!... Kal-El becomes Ken-El-ration. End of story.

It's shown what he can do with his brain power before, I said it's RARELY shown. Superman is naive and trusting. Some would say too much, but that's open to debate.

I gotta go with Supes. Yeah they call Thor a god but when you get down to it, he's basically a super powered extra terrestrial, and so is Superman. Strength for strength, it's anybody's guess who's stronger. But can Thor match super speed, heat vision, AND super breath? Thor's a force few can match, no doubt, but my money's on Clarkie.

Thor's been alive for hundreds of years. Probably thousands. Which means he has a SHIT TON of battle experience. Not to mention all that time spent honing & mastering various forms of combat.

Superman's been on Earth for ... what ... forty-something years in DC continuity? Ha! In that time he's managed to perfect flying real fast & hitting real hard. A pale comparison to Thor's expertise.

Among all the other things Mjolnir can do , Thor can open up portals to different dimensions w/it. Dimensions that don't have Earth's yellow sun , as C.A.B. previously stated.

And what happens when Supes can no longer absorb the rays of Earth's sun that give him his powers? I'll let Bill Paxton tell you :
