Oh, they are coming alright. First time I encountered them was in 1970. We used to tie the end of a thread on one of their legs and it was like a little tiny flying dog on a leash.

I forgot all about them until they returned in 1987. They still made the same collective noise which sounds like Star Trek phasers. I remember at that time, a store was selling T-shirts that had a picture of a cicada and in big characters, 2004

Yeah, they're coming.
