Sorry to start a new post...

I'm not positive Jake Redder actually left the community. (Wow, I finally quit lurking to post about this? Why, of all the more important things I could remember, such as where I last left my car keys or whether I've already eaten today...do I for some reason remember this history lesson...)

Anyway, as I recall...Jake's art was acquired and sent out any number of ways, so he's probably around, somewhere. Many commissioned pieces for people and such...

But the person who most definitely found religion and said most of the things described in the initial thread, was Scott (aka Psycho4048, aka ReturnToGod) - an original founder of the TMF. Also, I believe, an artist.

Anyway, He removed the old forum, replaced it with his views on religious issues, and started quite a stir on the new TMF.

(You can find all of these by searching for the term "leaving the forum" on the TMF)

As for having lost his wife of 17 years, that was the founder of Solletico Publishing (Fingers and Feathers magazine)...his site is still up with just the somewhat disturbing message regarding his marital trouble. Redder contributed to a few of his magazine issues.

Maybe Scott or Solletico actually were Jake Redder under a pseudonym, but I never thought so... Jake Redder was an original contributor to the old Tickletown, and even Oblesklk lost touch with him long before this forum or the TMF were born.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow. That's quite comical.

I wonder how Redder would feel about becoming an Urban Legend.

Hello again folks... this is THE Jake Redder. This is my second post in so many days to this forum. In response to the "urban legend" question (see previous post in this thread) all I can say is that as much as I'm happy to see my artwork is still
appreciated by so many... I'm troubled by the suggestions as to my absence.
I've read some fairly lengthy discussions on the matter. It seems I've either found
Christ or suffered marital problems or was eaten by wolves or... you get the idea.
Thankfully, all of the above are false.

Tfaford is correct to assume that I never entirely left the community. You don't
produce this this kind of work without some kind of interest in the genre. I simply
sought work elsewhere. I had to. I put alot of time and effort into my illustrations and I need to be compensated adequately. As much as I did receive a few well-
paying private commissions, they were few and far between. Ultimately, the foot-fetish/tickling niche proved to be way too narrow. I had to make a living so I got
busy with my other art.

It was in fact Solletico (or "Solly") of the "Fingers & Feathers" tickling newsletter who
apparently lost his wife due to his obsessive tickling fetish. I did a series of covers for him back in the mid-90's but that was the extent of my involvement with him. As far as Oblesklk or Scott are concerned, I was well on my way out of this biz by the time
they approached me. I had a decent body of work floating around by then so I guess
they posted whatever they could find.

Hope this clears things up a bit. Sorry for my extended leave but I'll be back again
some day. I plan to release a collection of my foot/tickling artwork (with plenty of never-seen-before-goodies) but right now that's on the back-burner.

All the best,

J. Redder

Wow, I guess that's one less urban legend to pass on 🙂

I'm really glad to hear that you're doing ok, and those vicious pack of wolves ended up spitting you out before the end. That could've been a nasty way to go.

If you're interested in producing any artwork these days, either PM me or drop me a line at [email protected]. I'll always have work for you. Love your stuff.

Hey Jake, could you possible post here some artwork of yours that hasn't been seen yet?

Do not necro dead threads. This gets you labeled a necromancer and paladins will come after you.

Thanks.

And let the Vikings run rampant while you're distracted? Ye Gods man! Don't let them do that!
