And that would be the one and only Hitchcock...TCM was showing Hitchcock movies yesterday...and each movie has it's own particular brand of suspenseful scenes...like in "Marnie" when she is tiptoeing across the office in her stockings, her shoes stuffed in each coat pocket..the camera shows the one shoe slowly beginning to fall...in "Psycho" the scene when the sister is walking up to the old home place of the Bates...and the camera shows her slow approach...you hold your breath as you watch these scenes...Alfred Hitchcock..to me the King of Movie suspense..

Right on to that, sister! Frenzy, Vertigo, Rear Window and even the Cormanesque The Birds are in my own personal Hitchcock top-10!

yes indeed...he was the Master of suspense...Stranger on a Train was ideal for that..as was Shadow of a Doubt..both favorites of mine..

The intro music to his t.v show was awesome and I like whatching his big wrinkly old fat ass walk into his silhouette.

He could have been a bank president, a judge or a member of Parliament. Or a butler. He looked distinguished, but in an ordinary kind of way, know what I mean?

There's a woeful deficit in my Alfred Hitchcock film knowledge. I intend on correcting that when I finally break in to this 20 Movie Classics pack from Mill Creek, purveyors of of cheap-jack disc-sets. This set is titled, "The Legend Begins", and has movies from Hitch going back to the 20's(!). In fact, I'm only vaguely familiar with a handful of these particular titles. Several sound promising.

Rick.... you remind me of Arthur Spooner from the show "King of Queens" in some of your post's, and thats a good thing.

there is no question that hitchcock is a master at his craft must like the hollywood brother is a master of his tickling craft.
