Last week I ranted against my beloved team, this week I'll cheer their name!

In between stuffing my face with Pizza and Calzone, mixed with about 6 Blue Moon's, I think my heart stopped at least 3 times on route to victory.

What a game!

Pittsburgh has had me on edge the last two weeks and I think they've started to turn my hair gray and take years off my life.:jester:

I'm getting flashbacks of 05!

Keep the excitement coming, Burgh!!!

I'm still at a loss as to how Big Ben threw for over 300 yards with no picks, Willie rushed for over 100 and they NEVER SAW THE ENDZONE.

Penalties fucking galore. It seemed every time the 'burgh did something good and had a big play, it was called back for penalties. Disgusting.

And fuck that ref at the end. There was no forward lateral. That was a fumble recovery for a touchdown. End of story.

Still, the Steelers are keeping us all entertained and they are now alone in 1st place of the AFC North.

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I know---125 yds of penalties?! And Polamalu scored to cover the spread... total BS.

Funny thing to me is:

What if the Steelers weren't injured and had everything clicking?!

Last week the only knock on them was Big Ben. This week Ben was dynamite!

I don't even know anymore.

I'm officially strapped in for a bumpy ride and ready to either have my heart shattered or hopes realized with the hoisting of the Lombardi trophy.

Here we go Steelers... here we go!

Yeah, and after this Thursday, it's not gonna be easy. We got...

The Pats
The Cowgirls
The Buzzards
The Titans

I've never looked forward more to playing the Browns in my life.

Yeah, it'll be tough, but I think Burgh will go [at least] 2-2 to secure at least a wild-card and/or divisional spot.

I don't see the Nevermore's finishing ahead of Burgh since they're a game behind and don't own the tie-breaker.

Plus Baltimore's last 6 are this:

PHI, @ CIN, WAS, PIT, @ DAL , JAX...

Not exactly a cakewalk.

9-7 should take the division and a first-round home game for PIT. Heck, looks as though 11-5 might get a first round bye!

Having a top-3 D helps!

I hope the Steelers play very well over the next few weeks. I want Dallas to use them as the stepping stone back to being considered favorites to win it all.

First Dallas must learn how to score more than 14 points a game! (Espescially vs. the mighty Pit-D!)

:jester:

I am looking forward to the week 14 showdown, though. And I'd LOVE to see another DAL-PIT Super Bowl in my lifetime (to avenge the *ahem* 'Neil O' Donnell incident')

You just hope your 'boys are all healthy. I don't want any excuses when the 'burgh use the Cowgirls as punching bags.

A Steelers fan shouldn't be talking about scoring points right now. The Cowboys scoring problems began when Romo went down. This was his first week back. He'll be 100% when the 'Boys go to Pittsburgh.

An 'd love to see another Dal-Pitt Super Bowl, too. That little series needs to be evened up.

They should be plenty healthy by then. They're healthy enough right now. They should be on a roll by December 7th.

Actually, PIT is only scoring 2 less PPG than Dallas. And giving up 8 less.

And the only bloke probably scoring for 'da boys the last 4 weeks has been Tony Romo!

*rimshot*

The Cowboys offense was atrocious while Romo was gone. The point is that Romo is back and so are other key players who were missing over that time. Dallas' defense has made some improvements and I expect it to continue. I'm not worried about the 'Boys scoring or keeping teams from scoring.

You know what, you are using excuses. If your team was that good then you shouldn't have been that bad when Romo went down. Fact is, when Romo went down your defense ( DEFENSE ) forgot how to tackle. Your team is NOT that good. Bottomline: Though I hate the Steelers, they should be able to beat Dallas without much trouble. STOP using excuses. EVERY TEAM has injuries.

:bowing:

Very True.

But seriously, I don't count out Dallas one bit. (I just like kicking them when down a little😀)

They're pretty much in desperation mode with Wade Phillips on the VERY hot seat and Romo coming back; plus Jerry Jones 'guaranteed' a playoff spot.

Dallas will be frisky in the coming weeks.

They should be 8-4 heading into Heinz Field.

PIT should beat them, but stranger things have happened (PIT-Indy two weeks ago!:disgust:)

The team didn't play well for a long time, and the began before Romo went down. Romo's injury complicated things even further. Jerry Jones didn't do all that he could to get a competent 2nd-string QB. The team suffered other injuries to key players at the same time. The defense played horrible in two-of-the-three games that Romo missed. Actually, the offense hurt the defense in that Giants game. They played well Sunday and I expect that to continue.

Bottomline: We'll have the last laugh.

It wasn't pretty or exciting, but Burgh won 27-10 vs. the Bungles.

On the plus side, they beat the 10 1/2 pt spread, the OVER and Big Ben played well (without throwing a pick, plus he didn't take sacks)

At 8-3, they're well in line for a playoff spot now. *knock on wood*

All they need to do now is win 2-3 games vs. their last 5 tough opponents. (NE, BAL, CLE aren't exactly A teams, those are the potential W's in my mind.)

Looks like the Ravens have an uphill battle to catch them.

I can start to breathe a little easier now.
