No Shawn and Hunter were both in on it . Hunter was the one who thought it up . Hunter said " Fuck him , if he wont do buisness , we will do it for him "

no he wasnt... vince to this day still admits it was his idea and shawn knew nothing of it.. not to mention hunter had no throw in the company then he and stepheny hadnt even started dating yet

Ya offically Vince only knew about it but if you watch HBK's DVD they talk about it and they say that Hunter and Shawn were both in on it to an extent. Arnt you supposed to be in Germany ? lol

Michaels was in on it. The reason that Bret really hates Shawn is because he lied to him about his involvement after it happened. Shawn admitted to being involved on that show Gene Okerlund hosted a few years ago. Jerry Brisco taught Michaels different ways to defend himself in case Bret attacked him. Why do you think HHH came out there? You can obviously see HHH looking back to make sure Bret isn't coming when they are leaving. Plus, Shawn's bad acting should tell you all you need to know. I think everyone knows that Shawn, Vince, Hebner, HHH and Brisco were in on it.

Julie Hart, the ex-wife of wrestling legend Bret Hart, has made an interesting comment about The Montreal Screwjob in an interview she did on The Unholy Matrimony Show. Concerning the incident Hart said, "I think he [Vince] had a business to run. I understand Bret's side too... Please don't hate me, wrestling fans."
