Well, I'd imagine that it is possible depending on the shoe and your upper body strength, but heres the thing. The anchor point is the person's foot. The exertion of force would have to be tremendous, so I think the real question would be: Is it possible without breaking the other person's foot or ankle?

I remember a video producer made a clip like it before. Someone played Bluto and said he was going to tickle the woman playing Olive Oyl's feet until she agreed to marry him.

I`ve done this to several women. The tickling is great, but it is rather hard on their shoes.

Cartoon physics are notoriously difficult to apply in real life.

For example, I found out the hard way that a fall of a cliff will not transform me into a pancake and instantly reflate into my normal self after a few seconds.

So no, I highly doubt you can peel the sole off a shoe to trap a ticklish foot inside.

So no, I highly doubt you can peel the sole off a shoe to trap a ticklish foot inside.

I agree also for the record if you run off a cliff you do not defy gravity until you look down and realize that you are no longer on the ground. also there is no puff of smoke when you land.

But serisouly it would depend on the shoe... a hand made shoe with leather soles tacked onto the shoe maybe if the shoe was old... a tennis shoe not so much.

And a better question is would you want to... you know how pissed a woman would be if you destroyed her shoe?

Well, if she uses banana peeling for the soles of her shoes, then yes it is physically possible. The thing about that clip that I always wondered is why doesn't her skirt fall down? But, it was the 1930's, and the sensors were very strict and tough back in those days.

Another thing I always wondered is why she wasn't wearing any socks? You would think that if a woman with size 14 feet had no socks on her feet while in boots, that the smell would have been lethal when Bluto peeled back the sole. Then again, maybe that's why he has that weird perverted smile on his face when he is tickling her. It would have been like he was sniffing airplane glue!
