The originals of tickle torture

There has never been any good evidence for proving this torture was being used in China,and most of it was made up by American and British wives tales.The idea of it being used as torture is kind of silly.Not everybody is ticklish,and many more can not be ticklish if they want,so it would be an extremely inafective method of information extraction.I've looked all this up before since I had also heard so much about it,and found nothing that was concrete.It seems to me to be a fabricated legend.

I was checking out a website not to long ago, and it meantioned something about Russian Goulags. A specialist on the subject wrote about 20 ways they interogated people and one of the ways he meantioned was tickling. Now, the way he described it was different then what we do, as apparently they would put a feather up the persons nose and spin it. However, it's possible that other forms of tickling were applied too.

The one thing no one has mentioned is the emotional state most people have to be in to be ticklish. And most people aren't very ticklish when they're scared. Have you ever tried to tickle someone that's terrified? I would think that the stress level would diminish any sensitivity
