the perfect Bed & Breakfast

Many people enjoy going to B&Bs for vacations or just a weekend away. What if we had our own B&B? Seriously, this is something that both JPie and I have dreampt of for ages. It would be great to find a big old place, fix it up and open it as a B&B. We'd cater especially to ticklephiles...though all would be welcome. Of course, there would be times set aside JUST for tickle gatherings. Since the house would already be there, we'd only have to charge for the food costs...and any repairs if people got too rowdy. 😀

We got talking about it last night and what we'd do if we ever got to go for it. Here are a few of the ideas we had...

- every room thoroughly soundproofed for privacy
- cuffs attached to every bed
- multiple basement dungeons for those who want to get really serious
- tool boxes full of tickle implements in every room
- a library filled with tickle stories
- a TV room filled with tickle videos
- extra large common room to gather in for demos, etc.

Feel free to add your own ideas.

BTW, there IS a B&B called the Tickle Inn in CA. Unfortunately it's just a family name and doesn't cater to us. Nice looking place, though.

Another thing I would add, is a tickle therapy room, just as you can purchase a massage and facial in other spa inns, in this B & B you can purchase a tickling session.

Maybe every so often we can advertise for a special guest tickler who would be invited up to perform these sessions in exchange for a free weeks accomodations!

And I say we leave a couple of rooms off one private corridor without the soundproofing for those that enjoy the sound of laughter.

I was thinking of a spot out in the boonies with sprawling grounds and a big swimming pool out back. ( The pool would encourage folks to wear less. hehe 😀 ) We could have a real hunk of a pool man for the ladies and gorgeous lady lifeguards for the guys...who I'm sure would all conveniently forget how to swim. THere's plenty more to add. But, I want to give others a chance. 😉

with me, the use of whip cream always leds to tickle fights!
ann, no problem we can go 2 tickle falls out of 3 if you really want but i was thinking you two ladies could sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy the ombiance of the establishment, lol

There used to be a very beautiful, rather high-standard 'Tickle Pink Inn' in Carmel Heights CA (I've stayed there for one night), but I can't find it anymore. The discovery of that one was the starting point for my writing of tickle stories. I imagined a motel catering for tickle enthusiasts (just like you all) and spun a rather amateurish story around it. Much later, I rewrote it, and it became my first novel! 😎

Of course, Hal! All are welcome to join in. If we have enough folks to help run the place, there'd be less work for each and more time for fun! 😉 BTW, I don't know if it's still open. But, the Tickled Pink Inn is what I was thinking of. I came accross their site while doing a search on tickling for my links section last year.

I think the idea of some seperate cabins is cool. Maybe we could do a main house and the cabins spread out over the grounds. It would make a whole resort out of it.

There's actually a lighthouse that has a similar setup. The main keepers house is set up as a B&B and there are cabins and areas for tents on the grounds. That would make for a nice setting. I've even heard rumors that they're looking for someone to take it over. We'd have to have someone who's familiar with the workings of lighthouses since it's still operative. But, it would be a cool place to use. Maybe we could do a takeoff on "City of Lost Children" and harness the laughter for energy to save on bills? lol
