Hey all, I've been doing my gal's feet for 3 years now and I wanted to know how you all achieve the perfect pedicure.

I soak them for a few mins in warm/hot water then proceed with a pumice stone and a pedegg. Then I rub them with a scrub of some kind and afterwards rub them with lotion or cream. But it feels like something is missing...

I wanted to know what minerals the salon places used and where I could buy them for the best price. Or maybe you can suggest something even better!

I read somewhere that the pros use special sanding boards dry and then emu oil. Look up professional pedicure products and look for these things. One thing I remember is that the pros don't soak feet in warm water and use pumice stones because they supposedly tear up the skin instead of smoothing it off. Here is a link to one site. There are many more. http://www.nailiteinc.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=236

My girl does her own scrub using sugar, a little olive oil and some vanilla extract for scent. It certainly works, but she's also never had a proper pedicure.
