"The Pose".....unique to ticklers and foot fetishists??

Greetings fellow TMF'ers. I was on the phone last night with my lee and also fellow TMF'er shooting the breeze about this and that, and as the conversation wrapped up, she decided to let me know that she was in The Pose. Of course my mind wandered to what that visual would look like and all the things I'd do if I were there in person. We all know what position that means but then I got to thinking, is The Pose unique to those of us with foot &/or tickling fetishes or if other fetish interests refer to something specific to their kink also refer to anything as The Pose. I know most here have interest in tickling but there's a lot of folks who have more than one kink and I'm curious about those others. Anyone care to chime in on if The Pose is Universally "owned" by foot fetishists and ticklers, or if it has another meaning for kinksters outside of those two fetishes? Who knows, it may be a way to find out who else is an undercover kinkster in everyday vanilla life. Dropping a reference to The Pose is pretty harmless, and anyone who already knows what you're talking about......well, lets just say you'd know you'd be speaking the same language, kinkily speaking that is 🙂

Probably. I've never seen the "laying on stomach with feet in the air" referred to as The Pose outside of a foot fetish context. It's a routine enough way of laying down where people who weren't trying to see feet and face at once wouldn't think twice about it.

The actual phrasing "the pose" I'm sure has a thousand different meanings, but if you just happened to say it without explicitly referring to the foot shit, I'd doubt anyone would immediately connect the word to the way someone was laying down.

I think it's mainly used by Us foot and tickle fetishist. It's also one of the sexiest poses a woman can do in my opinion lol.

It'd be cool if one could somehow work that phrase into general conversation in a room, and take note of the responses when people hear "the pose". It usually takes your mind somewhere quickly even if just internally. May be a sly way of seeing who may be a fellow kinkster or a way to draw unwanted attention to one's self. Meh, just a thought.

It's really like shorthand for foot fans. It can be taken as "come hither" in some contexts, like a sort of tickling mating call I guess. It likely strikes a Pavlovian chord with those into hogtie tickling (not a fan). I suspect every fetishist has certain very-much-hard-wired preferences. I, personally, have a thing for barefoot women on couches, laying on their backs with legs crossed, or on their stomachs with feet on footrest, not in the pose, but that's just me.
