The Quality of Laughter: Strained?

Just finished a post in the "ticklefriend" thread, and it got me thinking: how important is your ticklee's laugh to your attraction to tickling? What sort of laugh do you prefer, if any?

For me, the laugh is a huge attraction. I have a friend with whom I've had many tickle fights, but the experience is always diminished because her laugh is very, er, non-compliant with my aural atunement. Whereas I have another friend who has the cutest laugh, exactly the kind I adore in a ticklee -- and she's not ticklish in the slightest! Ironic much?

So I'm curious to hear anyone's thoughts on what role laughter plays in your tickling interest. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

i think some laughs can be really annoying... however - i have a clip of Zoya fox (i think thats her name) being tickled - its a really low quality clip, but her laughing is perfect

My favorite laugh

Laughter is not only audio but visual too. There is one type I call "Happy Face" laughter. It is very hard to describe, but it appears that thru the inconsistent muscle movement of the face, there appears "Mirth or Enjoyment" is being experienced by the ticklee. I have seen this effect very rarely in videos. I am not big on tickle vidoes experience, but Jeff's video of Yasmine and Lacey shows this towards the end. Lacey, who in my opinion is worth the price, is hogtied and Jeff goes for her sides. It last only about 10 to 15 seconds, but it is heaven. She evidently is so ticklish on her sides that Jeff, like the gentleman he is, accomodates her request later on, "not on my sides", and he refrains. Happy Face laughter is my favorite. Don't really like the Eeekers and Screamers. Happy Face for me.

...for me, at least, is the laugh...always has been; as far back as I can remember (literally) good laughs always set my mind toward tickling. "What better way to produce that laugh," thought young I, "than by tickling?" I always search for tickling .wavs and, in some cases, prefer them over clips.

As to the exact nature of what makes a "good laugh," I agree with those before me--"eeks" are bad, as are deep-throated, manly laughs. I really loved Rio's laugh, from TickleFan's site (sp? Not that it matters much, I think the site's dead). I suppose we all have our own tastes...but a good laugh can turn an otherwise ordinary person into something wonderful, and a bad laugh has the opposite effect.

I think I might have a laughing fetish!!!
What I mean is the laughter is what "Gets me going" so to speak.
If I hear a woman laugh I must know why... Like myterytic said,
I love the look of the face during the tickling.
One of my favoite laughs is the pig snort laugh. That just cracks me up.

im more visual , but i do like to hear the laughter. i kind of like a laughter that just goes on continuously but does'nt break into screams or screeches, babbling is good to..lol

laughing fetish thoughts

I have to second tcrewme's thoughts. To me, laughing is just ... sexy. Something so vibrant and sweet about it. And laughing signifies a certain loss of control -- like laughing yourself to tears because you can't stop. And how about this for "weird": I get a special rush from seeing celebrities really letting loose with laughter on movies/tv shows! And I can't really explain why. Perhaps it has something to do with the "extreme" nature of hysterical laughter; the facial and body contortions, etc.

There is something awesome about hearing people laugh...it just sounds so cheerful and friendly and, yes, even sexy. On the other hand, when I am tickled, I very rarely laugh, mostly just kick and squirm a LOT...hardly any noise beyond the occasional yelp and a fairly constant pattering of giggles in broken patterns...not much real laughing at all. I never understood it, but that's just me. Fortunatly others are not so handicapped. 🙂

To me the laugh must be a full laugh, not just light steady giggles or pouty laughter. Pillow bitter laugher when there are no pillows is not good either.

Just a nice semi loud hearty girlish hysterical laughter with the occaisional screaming and begging for mercy!😉 😀

I absolutely adore laughter. I really love all kinds, but the type that really "gets" to me is the really "tickled" laughter. The kind that comes from being figuratively tickled. When you can't do anything BUT laugh...whether from being literally tickled or otherwise. However, as it relates to tickling, the singlemost thing that gives me joy, is knowing I'm giving something which causes such pleasure. The energy from the physical interaction, so I can enjoy tickling a woman who simply squirms a little as much as if she squeals with laughter. Well...ALMOST as much! ;- )

I like hysterical girlish laughter best. Musical giggles will do if that's what's available. Silent laughter isn't much fun nor is harsh grunting laughter. I don't like screamers at all - I could get the same reaction with my Zippo, and have no desire ever to do that.

I agree, happy face laughter is the best visual reaction, and it seems to go with hysterical laughter more than the other types.
