Christian made his return to the WWE last night on ECW.

So much for a big return. What a great confidence booster for him, to be brought back to WWE and put on the third string show.

Why isn't he on Smackdown, where there is big stuff going on with his "brother" and the Hardy brothers. He could be back with Edge, feuding with Edge, coming to the defense of Jeff Hardy, or siding with Matt Hardy.

Here's a Wrestlemania match for you: Edge v. Jeff Hardy v. Christian v. Matt Hardy for the title. Make it a ladder or a TLC match, and its even better.

But no! Let's let him fight Jack Swagger! And team with Finlay! YAY!

Its great to see him back but what the hell ? ! He leaves TNA where he had main event status to go back to the WWE * who fired him * just to be put on the C - show ?. Theres only two possiblitys for this

1. They did it just so he can shake the cobwebs out and after awhile they will move him to Smackdown or Raw .

WWE didn't fire him. He refused to prolong his contract.

Ok fair enough on the first point . However ECW is a dumping ground for wrestlers who cant cut it on the two main shows and its a show for up and commers who are just getting into the WWE to get their feet wet and make a name for themselfs so they can possibly transfer over to Raw or SD , Christian is way better than what ECW has to offer him .

Good point. If Christian takes off in ECW, he'll make it "up" to one of the main shows by next year's draft at the lastest. And make no mistake, ECW is still the C-show, but I thought last night the brand got a much needed upgrade after losing Hardy to Smackdown. Not only did Christian arrive, who becomes the instant top babyface, but don't sell this new version of the Hart Foundation short, either. TJ Wilson (or...what is it: Tyson Kidd?) and Nattie Neidhart should get a nice push. I really wish they'd take the leash off of Jamie Noble, too. Has anyone here seen some of his ROH stuff? Good Lord, that little guy can go!

All in all, don't feel bad for Christian yet. I think he'd get lost in the shuffle pretty quick on Smackdown; at least he gets to be the top guy on one of the brands. And when you really think about it; it's not that much of a demotion. Ratings for Impact and ECW are generally the same.

The WWE version of ECW needs to die, but that's a whole different issue. I don't exactly feel "bad" for Christian, because I'm reasonably certain that ECW is just a brief stopping point for him, but it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I hope so too he doesn't belong on ECW he belongs on Smackdown , my guess is hes there just so he can get adjusted again in a WWE ring before they put him in a major storyline

Im sorry folks, but to be placed on ecw is the biggest slap in the face. Christian has really great mic skils, but as far as a main eventer. Never!!

He doesnt have the look of a true main eventer. He needs to look like a he-man figure. Hes too small. I figured he would go to smackdown and reform the tag team of christian and edge vs the hardy boys tlc match at wrestlemania. This is what i thought was going to happen. They place all the people that nobody gives a shit about on ecw. Its laughable man, HAHA.

If he's going to use ECW as a springboard, he better hurry up.

He's either going to win the ECW belt, or immediately put Swagger over.
