The Scooby Doo Theory

I grew up watching Scooby Doo (like every other kid of the 70's) and noticed a few things about the show's "stars" that I never noticed before(or was too young to notice)

1. Freddy- Self absorbed prep
2. Daphne- Lesbo
3. Velma- Dyke
4. Shaggy- druggie
5. Scooby Doo- druggie
6. Scrappy Doo- Scooby's ill-legitimate son.

OK 1, 2, 3, and 6 should be obvious, but how did I come to the conclusion that Shaggy and Scooby were druggies?

Simple.

They drove around in a psychedelic van with no windows. They were always overly paranoid. They were always hungry. They always had an amazing high and burst of energy after eating some "scooby snack" (known on the street as "Hash Cakes".

What about Bert and Ernie? Two bachelors who have been living together in the same apartment on Sesame Street for who knows how many years, without any evidence of any girlfriends or romantic involvements? What about Ernie's fascination with his rubber ducky? What about Bert's frustrated anally-retentiveness(sp?) towards Ernie's behavior? More than roommates? I think so.

You always see Papa Smurf, but where was Mama Smurf

You know that Smurfette had to be very busy, and popular, being the only female smurf.

Vanity smurf is just gay. It's pretty obvious.
