The Sky Is Falling On The Atlanta Teams!

The Atlanta Hawks are one loss from elimination, after a Game Five loss at home tonight, after being ahead two games to none in their NBA first round series with the Bucks.

The Atlanta Braves are reeling, residing in the cellar of the National League East, following another pathetic offensive performance tonight. The Braves have lost eight games in a row.

Two teams, that had designs on going deep into the playoffs. One about to succumb in the first round of the NBA playoffs, another, expected to contend for a wild card spot, heading 100 miles per hour toward.. a 90 loss season, if they don't turn it around realllly quick!

Please, someone rescue the teams from Atlanta! The Hawks may be gone by Friday. The Braves could follow soon after that!

Could be worst, you could live in the city of the worst front runners in sports: Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys: One playoff win in 13 years
Dallas Mavericks: Bounced in the first round again after being the top seed yet again
Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers: Not even worth mentioning

Dont think we'll be planning any championship parades in Dallas anytime soon.

Yeah, the Braves have slumped for a while now. Atlanta's hockey team isn't so great either.

Granted, the Falcons are alright.

Well, since I wrote this thread, things have turned around. The Hawks won two games in a row to eliminate the Milwaukee Bucks (Finally), and the Braves are on their way to sweeping the Houston Astros a three game series at home.

Hopefully the Braves can continue to play well, and get back into the NL East race. It looks like they've finally started to hit.

As for the Hawks, they have a very difficult test to face, with the semifinal series against the 59 win Orlando Magic. Hopefully the Hawks can play well, but I'd have to say that Orlando has the advantage in that series.
