I didn't know if I should put this here or in GenDis, but its here soooo off to the thread.

I would just like to comment about the tickling industry and some of its corporations. Does anyone remember the first tickling vid producers? I think the first ones where Real Tickling, Yaqi, and MagicT. Though I could be wrong these where the first I saw. BTW what ever happend to Yaqi? He get alot of s*** after the whole im dead thing. Hoax or not? Also the original MagicT site hasent been upgraded for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time. I think this is because of the ticklingws paysite. Also, as you all know, realtickling is now only selling 5 minute download vids. Why is that? On that topic it would be really nice to put the original videos up for download again, for money of course. Anyways so is this the fall of the original tickling vid corporation and the rise of new ones suce as silver cherry, ANA, T2D (BTW congradulations on that good buddy), and others. Anyways I just felt like rambling about that so what do yall think about the state of the Industry.

Current state of the industry? If I look at old films I see crap produced by fetishproducers who sold ticklingvids just because it'd make em some money, but now, I see vids produced by ticklephiles just like the rest of us who produce vids to provide the community with some very fine quality material 🙂

While I totally agree that tickling video companies have improved 100% because they are now in control by the ticklephiles, I can't help farting down Memory Lane.

They were all doing it waaaaay back before Tied and Tickled #1. By today's standards, many of them sucked real bad, but some were kinda cool.
Hey how about those photos by a girl named Sheila? Anyone remember her? This predates the vids in the 70's.

Happy birthday!

I'm still in search of a copy of EE-108 which I saw a tiny promo of once someplace. EE turned out some very good stuff, and I was looking forward to this one with Tanja Wilder in it. Never was released as far as I could tell.

I remember many of the names on the list above. Makes me feel pretty old.

There was a lot of dreck from these companies, but the gems were so very worth it. Some are still favorites today.

As to why companies like TC and MTP have started to sell clips over tapes, the reason is simple. It's economics. A online clip can be delivered with far less hassle and cost then a physical video tape. The profit margin is thus higher, and in a nitch market like this one, every one percent you can get out of a product makes a big difference. Note that MTJ is an electronic distributer now also. No more paper. Same idea no doubt.

I've heard of HOM films and seen "Turnabout", but not familiar with the rest of that list, Max. The earliest one I ever bought was back in 1985 (can't remember the name), a bondage video with a tickle segment between two gals. It was made in the 80s but was silent.

...And just what is WRONG with feeling like a Dinosaur?

I still have Maybird 1 (No, it's NOT for sale), a few titles from Nu-Vue, a brocure from that "Diane Peerless," a few brocures from B&D Pleasures, as well as some from Bean Blossoms. Those were the days when, like many of our younger counterparts today, I couldn't afford to spend alot of money on what made me happiest.

I will follow what Myriads said...

I think it is just a natural progression to have these 5 min clips of tickling...
It helps the producers cut down on costs and the downloaders only have to get what they want...
However, some may be put off by the "accumulated" cost of 5 min clips...where as $30-40 bucks for a vid/dvd that will last for quite some time.
Actually I have always thought of the clips as ads for the full video's that are put out...try before you buy type thing.

I understand the downloading pros. It would be nice to see the old realtickling vids like ticklish vibrations (my favorite tickling vid ever) I used to have it but not shure where it went. I would defenatly download it though.

Actually my credit card was cancelled for using it on illeagle stuff. The guy that took it asked me where the smell came from. (not really this is an inside joke. Venray 😉 )

Those photos you have, I believe, were not Sheila but Marni Rose from Beaverton, Oregon. Sheila and her girls were out of Chicago (I believe) or somewhere in the Midwest. Their catalogue was amazing.
I used to have hundreds of Marni Rose pix but they were all thrown out during a "purge". I could shoot myself for that.

I remember spending my hard earned afterschool job $$$ on ridiculously expensive Calstar tapes at the age of 16, back in '88-'89, on my furtive trips to Time Square. While some of them were destined to become classics, many were just horrid and lame; that, and a wonderful conversation with Jeff of MTP at my first NEST, are what got BellaRisa started.


BTW I've alwayts wanted to see Turnabout, and another oldie called Squirm-if anyone has copies or info please let me know!
