Here's the first car I ever owned at the tender age of 17. I made a lowrider out of it thanks to watching Cheech & Chong's movie, "Up In Smoke". After a few months, that car went up in smoke as well. Should have left it the way it was. (The car pictured wasn't mine!)

i wouldn't really call that a low rider. when i think of a low rider i picture something else in my mind. but its a nice little car anyways 🙂 i'm sure your car was very sweet featherfingers!

BlackmoonDoll, my car was a lowrider when I got through with it. I put deep dish Cragar rims on 560 tires, had the springs cut so the car sat about three inches above the ground. Chain steering wheel and 8-track tape deck (what was I thinking?). The windows were tinted very black and instead of the original blue paintjob, I had the car sanded and primered... never to be painted again. My friends said they could here me coming from a mile away because I played the music so loud... and I'm suffering from tinnitus today as a result. I never had hydraulics but I'd put blocks in the front end of the car to make it look like it had hydraulics... until the car hit a bump and one of the blocks fell out. It was a nice car while it lasted.

my uncle bill has a muscle car. i think its a monte carlo (i haven't seen it yet) but my mom has and she says its like a red-orangeish type color. its in perfect shape and condition the only thing that needs to be worked on some is the engine. my uncle got it from this guy that out ran the cops 25 years ago for doing something illegal i'm sure (i'm assuming with Drugs). he out ran the cops and peeled into his gargage and hide his car out there ever since then he never took the car out until now. the car was in the guys gargage for over 25 years. so now my uncle bill has it. the car can reach up to i think like 190 Miles Per Hour

naw..thats like a padded skirting so when the car drops..most likely on hydralics it wont scratch or crack the body of the car when it hits the concrete.

Naww Dave, you aint a loser brah! Hell the ppl that drive now suck as it is. your probably lucky you dont have your license. youd be like me over the weekend toppin my car out at over 125 mph down a open highway. see told ya you aint stupid.
I wonder whats in it to get the monte up to 190?? i need that for my Monte! has to be like a anything from a 383 up to a 502 engine with the govenor taken out or the pcm changed. pretty sweet tho. would love to see it.

Exvellent post Frankie! I love the stang. Not just the 64 1/2, which is my personal fave, but they are all nice from the fast back to the shelby to the Boss,. Actually, from 64-72 were some of the best cars ever.

now a days these mustangs are geared all wrong. too slow in my opinion. Cobra is about the only one not geared that bad. maybe mach1. My buddy has a Mustang Gt from 01 and tore out the tranny and rebuilt it. quick as hell now. maybe ford needs to think about the gear ratios next time. cant wait to see that new mustang tho..and imma a chevy man! 😛

I've been waiting for the day I can get me one of these babies, paint it all psychedelic, install a monster stereo system that plays nothing but Classic Rock and Soul from the 60's & 70's, and just travel all over the USA! I give you... aw, forget it! Every weblink I find for the VW bus doesn't work here... yeah, the VW Bus! I just love the trippy hippy vibe of those vehicles... even if they do break down every thirty miles.
